Tablature Freaks from Electrofux
How To January 29th, 2008
I’ve been thinking about this for awhile that i would like to share some tablatures for Electrofux.com readers. For those who want to program tunes from other bands to your sequencers, these are some of examples that you can program onto your sequencers.
These are from Camouflage. More later, promise!
What you need to do is simple, just click these small images below, it will bring you to new window/tab, then right click the picture and ’save image as’ to your computer.
Enjoy.
Battle Against Me
Thoughts January 27th, 2008
Jagshemash, whaaaazup my comrads??? Hope life is treating you well… This article i’m writing was an incident occured to me when i was in
It was mid July 2007 & I was offered to join The Serious Party team by DJ Nasty Nate in a gig in Kulterhuset & it was a battle party where you have 2 teams & each DJ of each team spins 30 mins & then the next DJ spins. The team who could attract more crowds to dance basically wins. So the crew for The Serious Party were DJ Nasty Nate, his partner with a Freddie Mercury’s moustache, a hip-hop dj, a kid with a sampler & of course ELECTROFUX vs the Team Skidoo (sorry i’m bad with remembering names).

Nothing to something from everything to anything (now the 3rd part!)
How To, Thoughts January 16th, 2008
Jagshemash!!! Soooooooo we’re back again on nothing to something from everything to anything & now the 3rd part. Well did you read the part 1 & part 2? if not get out of this article & start reading the last 2 articles that i wrote but if you did…..Then i guess you are as crazy as i am. but do you understand bits & pieces of what i wrote? Cause if Ronald Ambarita my sidekick for ELECTROFUX could understand what i was writing about then i was writing it right. And for those who still don’t understand all the articles that i wrote then i think you should start taking up English courses cause my sidekick didn’t take up English courses, he understood what i wrote & even i, failed my English composition exams & i am not saying literally i didn’t understand but i understood my main point of views of the last 2 articles. (For those who could read the manuals for electronic equipment like my sidekick does in English & understood them, they don’t have to take up English courses,…but i think i do cause i don’t understand any manual book in any language, i just let my fingers do all the work by reflex.) & if you still don’t bother to read them then it’s your mouse, your choice, your clicks. Nothing to something from everything to anything pt2
How To, Thoughts January 16th, 2008
Well, well so we are back again with the nothing to something from everything to anything pt2 & still on the ‘how to be an electronic musician’. This time i will discuss about sequencers & samplers. Let’s talk about the hardware stuff now. Let’s start with samplers. my very 1st sampler was a CASIO(thanks Adam for the CASIO)…. I forgot the series but the CASIO i was using before could sample only 3 seconds & i could not save it so every gig i have to sample every now & then. Troublesome…..yes i know. then after couple of well paid gigs finally i bought a boss dr. sample SP-202. It has 6 built in effects, bpm function,4 selectable sampling gradess,8 big sample pads, time stretch function, built in microphone, tap tempo button & powerful mixing capabilities which allows you to mix variety of input sounds -external mic or line in- with your samples(i.e, guitar, voice, etc.) you can even route these sounds through the onboard filters & the ring modulator effect.
It may sound sophisticated but it has loads of flaws too & you can’t store much sample in it. Then a couple of years later, someone gave me a Roland SP-808EX (Thanks Nin for the SP-808EX….& i still love you.)….now i call that a sampler. The SP-808EX has 16 big pads with 64 banks, tons of effects, 4 track where you record your sample to a song, a d-beam & you can store it all into built in zip drive. & never drop your zip card cause all the data inside will go to the electronic heaven. They do have a sotware for it but it only work on Windows 98….talk about old school…When i use the SP-808EX,i never even midi it to any other equipment. I simply sample a perfect loop & as my other sequencers or drum machines running on pattern loop, i press the sample pads at the beginning of the 1st bar put it on hold & shaaaazaam jam wham bam thank you ma’am…the sample loop is running side by side with my sequencer but as long as it’s a perfect loop sample. (If the loop tempo…let’s say it’s 130 bpm & your sequencer is 130 bpm then you can’t go wrong unless you press the sample pads too quickly or to late.) In fact all of my samplers i never midi to any other equipment, i don’t know why i do that but maybe it’s just the feeling of playing it live just like playing guitars or piano. Til now i’m using akai MPC-4000 upgraded & SP-303(the new version of the SP-202 but with 26 killer effects without killing other human being!!!) i still play like that.
Soooooooo let’s us talk about sequencers… Read the rest of this entry »
Nothing to something from everything to anything pt1

Hello world!
Thoughts January 12th, 2008
This is a modified very first post in Elextrofux Dot Com letting you know that we have done the construction of Electrofux.com.

We have a very short but unforgettable journey on how we finally ended up using this site. Electrofux.com has been registered since 2004 by a good friend of ours. Since the first time it was registered, we never actually use this domain until by the end of December 2007, we decided to fill it with Electrofux activities.
So our initial step was to make sure that this domain is still within our reach. Apparently, it was not. This domain was expired in November 2007. We passed the deadline of the rent, we missed it. In panic, we emailed our past registrar and ask whether it still available for us to extend the rent. The good news was, they spared some time until January 8th 2008. So we still have the time.
We immediately transfer our domain to our current registrar, and we were saved by our initial registrar which happened to be very helpful. Finally we pass all process and it is now transferred and we can use it for our internet playground.
Lesson learned. If you have a music group, a band or a trademark and can get your exact or at least relevant .com address, never lose it!
Oh, we also want to thank our friend Satrio Studt, who had been very supportive to us in keeping our internet presence alive. Cheers and enjoy our site!
